  • PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

    Open Cockpit in the B-29 Super Fortress: there will be eight opportunities to step onto the Flight Deck.  Aug 2nd & 3rd, Aug 9th & 10th all with guided tours on the Flight Deck   Normal Museum open hours. The B-29 is the airplane that was instrumental in ending WWII, the war in Japan.

    Open Cock Pit days are once each quarter. Aug is always in the B-29 because the B-29 was involved in ending the war in Japan 1945. Call the Museum for details on other dates.

    Join our New Construction Campaign. We have plans to add another 30,000sf hangar identical to the one we now have. We are an Enterprise Zone.

    Our present hangar is available to rent for Parties, Programs, Get-Togethers, Dances, Weddings, etc. 
    Call the Museum for details and to make reservations, we can accomodate up to 300 people. We have tables, chairs, podium, portable stage,
    portable bar, etc.

    Each 2nd and 3rd Saturday each month is Rocket Make and Launch.

    On the 2nd Saturday the Museum hosts rocket make and take. One week later you can fly(launch) your rocket from the appointed site. Weather permitting (call the Museum for details).

     Memorial Planning

    The Pueblo Historical Aircraft Society, is planning to erect a Memorial at the Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum later this year to memorialize those military and civilian personnel who died while assigned to the Pueblo Army Air Base (PAAB) from May 1942 to March 1946.

    If you or anyone in the Pueblo or Front Range of Colorado has any information about these personnel please contact the Museum at Pueblo (719) 948-9219 between 10 AM and 4 PM Mon-Sat and 1 PM to 4 PM on Sunday.

    You can also contact the Museum via e-mail at service@pwam,org  or call Mr. Doug Fry at the museum (719) 948-9219.

    If any organization, family or individual would care to donate funds to aid in the purchase and erection of this Memorial please contact the Museum at the phone numbers and e-mail address above. Checks and Money Orders should be made payable to PHAS. The words "Memorial" should be written in the lower left hand corner of the check or Money Order.

    Our museum is located on the grounds of the Pueblo Memorial Airport located six miles east of Pueblo on US Highway 50 East/Colorado 96 East at 31001 Magnuson Ave. If traveling on I-25, take exit 101A and proceed approximately 7 miles on Highway 50 East to the entrance of the airport.

    Museum Seeks Former "Liberator" and "Privateer" Pilots and Crew Members

    PUEBLO, Colo. (AFPN) -- The Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum, home of the International B-24 museum is building a database of former B-24 / PB4Y-1 Liberator and PB4Y-2 Privateer aircraft crew members. The database will help veterans locate friends and serve as a source for historical research. 

    Veterans or family members of veterans wishing to add the names of former crew members to the data base may contact the museum and request a B-24 Crew Member Form. The mailing address is:
