The T-28C was built by North American Aviation Inc. This type aircraft made its first flight Sept. 5th 1956. It was designed to be used for training of pilots in transition to high speed aircraft.
This particular aircraft was accepted for use by the Navy on Feb. 16, 1956 and was used for training.
It was released for display by the Dep't of Navy and flown to Pueblo from Davis Monthan AFB, AZ.
